ISSUES AND THEIR SOLUTIONS IN BHIM APP

Few days ago, PM Narendra Modi launched a new application for digital payments called BHIM(Bharat Interface for Money). But as you all know that there are always some issues and problems faced in the beginning of every application. So in this article we will look after all the problems in BHIM app and try to find their solutions also.

#OTP ERRORS IN BHIM APP:-

So many times we have noticed that customers are complaining that they are not receiving the OTP on time. This is because of the heavy loads on the server during the working hours. So the solution of this problem is to use the app during the non working hours like at night or in the morning. Sometimes, the Android versions are also the problems for declined payments. For this, it is suggested to use Android 8.0 and above versions to operate BHIM smoothly.

#What is Biding OTP error in BHIM app?

Mostly the users with dual sim smartphones are facing this type of errors. Solution for this type of errors is that the users are preferred to keep the BHIM app registered sim in Slot 1. So that you can easily receive the OTP and your Biding OTP error problem will be solved.

#Not receiving any notifications from the banks:-

We have seen that customers are not receiving the notifications of their failed or successful transactions but its too difficult to make any type of comment in this type of problem because the app is just rolled-out and we tried it. So it will take time to set up proper notification system.

#Mobile number verification issue:-

If there is a problem in the mobile number verification of the registered sim then we can just wait for the updated version of the BHIM app. PM’s team is working on it and soon we can see the updated version of it.

#how to resolve transaction declined errors?

Maximum times the users are getting the message that your transaction has been declined. Mostly the closing and reopening of the app solved the problem but even after this your problem is not getting solved then you again close the app, free the RAM, close all the background running applications and reopen the app. Your problem will be solved.

    I have transferred amount of ₹10000 twice from BHIM app on iPhone linked to my bank A/C. The receiver was Canara Bank.now the status shows pending on app. The amount ₹20000k has been debited from my A/C. The receiver says, the amount got credited and then debuted back from his A/C.my banker says to check with the receiver’s Bank and the receiver banker says to check with my banker.

    Kindly resolve this issue and credit back the due amount to my bank A/C .

  10. I am NRI and trying to configure bhim app. On logging in the app is able to recognize my bank accounts but on selection of the account it says invalid mobile number format. Can you help?

  17. Even i was facing same problem, but my problem solved within 2 days. I just complained to Bank and sent a mail with transaztion ID, and details. they refunded my amount within two days.
    Bhim app don’t have problem may be network problem that’s it.

    Hello Sir,
    I mistakenly transferred some amount to incorrect UPI address through BHIM app on 4th of May. I reported this issue against the transaction in the app itself. But when I checked the ticket the description shows “Amount debited but not credited to benificary”. There is no option to change the description. I called the BHIM app helpline but no one is answering the call. I emailed them the complaint, but no reply till now. I tweeted this to BHIM official handle but no response.
    I called my bank, and they said its BHIM app issue and only they can solve this.
    Getting no response feels disappointed. Can you help me out

  25. I made a transaction via bhim app on 11th April.
    Amount RS 5900
    Money from my account debited but receiver’s account not credited.
    I even contacted home branch and they send some emails to bhim app not once but atleast 5 times but there has been no response .
    Till date issue is not resolved.
    This is very frustrating .
    No one is ready to take responsibility.

      Please note that if you are making a transaction using BHIM app and in case the transaction failed, Only payee bank will be responsible for process of refunds. So we would suggest you to please report this issue immediately to your bank.

  75. I have made a transaction of Rs.2000/- from BHIM APP on 23.10.17,through A/c No.-XXXXXXXXXX00280 (BOI)to A/c No.-XXXXXXXXXX00002 (BOI) the amount has been debited from my account but has not been Credited to the beneficiary Account (UPI REFERENCE NO.-729616918183).
    Please look after the matter and resolve the issue as soon as possible.

I have also raise dispute / complaint in UPI App. Please kindly do the credit this amount in to bank of Baroda beneficiary account at earliest . Or kindly reverse this amount in to my
