BANKING LOKPAL GUIDELINES

A set of guidelines has been framed by Reserve Bank of India for customers, who wants to file a complaint at Banking Lokpal.

  1. First, inform the concerned bank about your problem in written as you can’t approach directly to the Banking Lokpal without bank’s redressal.
  2. Don’t approach to Banking Lokpal before 30 days after filing a complaint at the bank.
  3. Submit all the details of your complaint with proof at Banking Lokpal with the application form.
  4. You can also upload your proofs with online application form in pdf or txt format only.

    Maine bank me no dues ki demand ki to aaj kal kah kar tahla diya gaya.jab dusre manager aye to maine inko sari jankari di aur 3 baar likhit bhi diya yaha tak ki by post bhi kiya aur sath me jo maine paisa jama karaya tha uski rasid ki copy aur lokadalat me sulah ke samay jo avedan diya uski copy bhi di.bawajud samsya ke samadhan ke badle inhone notice bhej diya.ek hi account ko dobara npa kar ke mujhe pichle kai salo se pareshani ka samna karna pad raha hai.ab to meri mobile ki dukan bhi band ho gyi hai.
    Ata sriman se sadar vinti ke mere pareshani dekhte hue mujhe no dues dilwane ki kasht pradan ki jaye taki main mansikta ke dabav se rahat paa saku

  4. Despite of central govt’s vision towards the digitization and bank account for every citizens, SBI Branch, Jagdeopath seemed not be aware withe said vision. still it is running under the discretion of the staff, cashier and manager. however, I took private bank service for 10 years and not a single complain I felt in respect of behavior, co-operation. But it was very unfortunate when I approached SBI Jagdeopath Branch for opening a bank account of my spouse name and submitted all requisite details as well as copy of ADHAR, PAN, Electricity bill for local address proof as I resides locally as tenant. but lapsing of 60 days after visiting the branch 4 times it feel panic and could realize that account opening at Public bank is like impossible work if you don;t belong to special category like as influential back ground. SBI staffs are not doing their job, they sit there to harass the common man. despite the fact that all these people are being paid of ours hard tax amount.

  5. Hi sir, today I went to the boring road branch of Punjab National Bank with a request to open a savings account with all the necessary documents but the lady on the counter denied to open the account and asked me to go to S.k.puri branch which is near to my residence. I explained lady that have already visited the branch but as the concerned officer is not available they cannot open the account and request to visit any nearest branch.
    Then also lady said that she will not open my account, I requested her to give the same in written so that I can ask my company to assist me for the same. So she referred me to the hall in charge of the branch.
    He was busy on mobile call so after 10 minutes after which I explained the same to him and requested to open my account, then he said PNB does not allow them to open account of a person who stays in the location of different branch, when I asked him to give the same in written, he started shouting at me that he will not let me open the account in his branch as I was talking lot about the rules and regulations. I discussed the say with his senior sitting upstairs in the same branch regarding the same he referred me to make a complain to you.

    Sir definitely I can open my account in any other branch, any other day but my area of concern is if they can misbehave and mislead any educated person, I can’t even wonder how they must be handling other poor or uneducated customer coming in the branch.
