Nobody can interrupt the processing of Banking Ombudsman and the response given by it, is final and cannot be changed. BANKING LOKPAL GUIDELINES

RESERVE BANK OF INDIA has appointed Banking Ombudsman to look into customers complaints but there some set of guidelines which a customer has to follow while filing a complaint. The rules are as follows:-

1. One has to first write to the concerned bank before approaching Banking Ombudsman.

2. As soon as the period of 30 days is completed from the date of the complaint, he/she can approach Banking Ombudsman if you are not satisfied with the response from the bank.

3. Provide all the details of your bank account, complaint application with form number, and all the others proofs related to your complaint, as all these details are necessary to investigate the issue.

4. You can also file an online complaint with all the proofs attested in pdf or txt file only.
